SWAT INCIDENT
8493 GLENVIEW ST. DOUGLASVILLE, GA
On 030323 the Douglasville Police responded to a suicidal subject, Brian Weatherby, age 29, at 8493 Glenview St. We were advised that he may be assaulting a family member inside the home. We also found that Brian had active felony warrants for his arrest. Once on the scene, it was determined that three family members were inside the home with Brian. The SWAT team was activated, and the area was secured. Once the family members got out of the house, we made contact with Brian and he was arrested and taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation. No one was seriously injured during this incident.
